- I have two US Robotics Sporter 28.8 Modems and I would love to torch
- both. Neither one will stay connected during long downloads. Based
- on a recommendation from my Internet Provider I purchased a Practical
- Peripherals Pro Class PC288MT V.34. What a difference! I pushed it
- to the limit by simultaneously downloading four files at once and it
- never disconnected (the largest file was 6MB. It also connects at
- 28.8, not 26.2 or whatever. This modem cost me $299 (external
- version) but it is worth every dime.
